Cloud
Cloud, without moving everything on a slogan. The server stays if the server is the right place.

Cloud is a place the system runs, not a personality. Some workloads belong there. A till, a camera system or a file that must work when the line is down may not.
We draw the picture. What moves, what stays, what it will cost in a year, and who can open the account if we are not in the room. An account in a former employee's name is not a cloud. It is a lockout waiting to happen.
Migration is a weekend plan with a way back, not a slide that says 'digital'.
What that includes
- A picture of what should move and what should stay
- The account owned by the organisation, not a person
- A cost you can read before the move
- A way back if the first cutover is wrong
- The join to backup, identity and the line it depends on
Questions
Do you move everything to the cloud?
No. Some workloads belong there. A till, a camera or a file that must work when the line is down may not. We draw that before anything moves.
Who owns the account?
The organisation. An account in a former employee's name is a lockout waiting to happen.
What if the move goes badly?
There is a way back. A cutover without one is not a plan.
