Copilot and AI Adoption

Copilot and the other assistants, adopted properly or not at all.

Copilot and AI Adoption

Buying Copilot, Gemini or a similar assistant and announcing it is how you get a quiet licence and the same workload. Adoption is a list of tasks that should get shorter, and the people who need to trust the draft.

We sit with the work. Mail that can be triaged. A first draft of a note that still needs a human. A summary of a meeting that already happened. We do not bolt an assistant onto a process nobody has written down.

Training is part of the same engagement. A team that cannot tell a good draft from a fluent invention will not use the tool, or will use it badly.

What that includes

  • A short list of tasks the assistant is allowed to take
  • Setup inside Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Training for the people who do those tasks
  • A rule for when a person must still decide
  • A review after the first month, not a launch-day slide

Questions

Is buying Copilot the project?

No. The licence is the start. The project is which tasks get shorter, and whether the people doing them trust the draft.

Microsoft or Google?

Whichever you already work in. We are not a church about either. Adoption is the same discipline on both.

How do you know it is being used properly?

We review the tasks after the first month. A quiet licence and the same workload is a failed adoption, and we will say that.
