Device Management
Device management so a new laptop is ready before the person sits down.
A laptop that was set up by hand will drift. The next one will be different, and the one that was lost will still be able to open the mail.
We enrol the machines. Apps, updates and the rule for a lost device are the same for every person in the same job. A starter gets a machine that already knows who they are. A leaver loses it the same day.
This sits with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, not beside them as a second religion. Intune, or the equivalent you already pay for, is enough. We will not sell you a tool you do not need.
