Websites and Hosting

Websites and hosting, looked after as part of the estate, not a brochure that rots.

Websites and Hosting

A site that only had to look right on the day it launched will fail the certificate, the form or the phone number, usually in that order.

We build and host the sites that are the business: the booking page, the menu, the firm, the course. They are fast because they are simple, and they are watched because a down page is a closed door.

The form goes to a person. Hosting sits with backup and the name of who can change the DNS. We do not leave that in a freelancer's account.

What that includes

  • Design and build of the site the organisation actually needs
  • Hosting in an account the organisation owns
  • Forms that arrive, and a person who sees them
  • The certificate, the DNS and the backup, named
  • Changes after launch, on the same team

Questions

Who owns the hosting and the domain?

You do. A site left in a freelancer's account is a finding, not a setup.

Will the form actually arrive?

Yes. It goes to a person. A form that files itself into silence is not finished.

Is the site watched after launch?

Yes. The certificate, the DNS and the backup are named. A down page is a closed door.
